The sales of my book were good at rollout and I truly appreciate all those who have supported me. Sales have remained steady. I wanted to share some of the activities related to getting the book “out there” and what’s upcoming.
In October, my poem “The Relentless Sound of Water” was published in a wonderful new anthology called South Dakota in Poems. The anthology was compiled by our poet laureate, Christine Stewart. You all know how much I love South Dakota and this book is a lovely tribute to our state. The book is available on the South Dakota State Poetry Society website. Also on the website are videos of various contributors reading their work. This is mine:

In November, I did my first in-person reading at the wonderful Twisted Pine Tasting Room in Hill City. I look forward to doing more local readings as venues suspend the Covid restrictions.
The book is available in two places locally:
-The Haberdashery at Johnson Siding. On July 10, I will be on-site along with the other local artists to do a book signing.
-The Perfect Hanging Gallery in downtown Rapid City. On August 13, I will be on-site doing a book signing as part of Art Night Downtown Rapid City.
Hope to see you there. I continue to enter poems in various publication contests around the country…..it’s always fun waiting for their decisions!
Best to all and wishing you a glorious remainder of 2021.
